GBS NATIONAL TEAM INVITE
GBS National Teams Invite:
We are excited to announce that the GBS National Teams will transition to full-time participation in the upcoming 2025 Spring & Summer travel season. We plan to field teams in the classes of 2027, 2028, 2029, 2030, 2031, and possibly add the class of 2032.
Having followed your journey and observed your play in person, we believe that you, along with the other players receiving invitations, have the potential to become exceptional athletes, and an exceptional team. We are thrilled to invite you to join us this upcoming season. The GBS National team will host workouts from January 18 & 26, 2025. Our goal is to build highly competitive teams capable of excelling on a national schedule. The primary objective of the GBS National Teams is to provide talented, under-the-radar players with the exposure they deserve while fostering an environment of development for success at the next level.
Confirm Your Participation: Join the GBS National Teams
This LINK will allow you to confirm if you would like to play this season and sign up for the Rank-Up showcase. We will host workouts for those invited and those who would like to try out but were not on our initial radar. While receiving an invitation is a positive indication of your potential inclusion on the roster, it is not a guarantee. Our intent is to field the most complete and competitive teams possible.
- Roster Spots: We have roster spots for full-time players (8-10) and supplemental players (2-4). Supplemental players may play for another organization and will be used to fill in if full-time players are unavailable or if the roster for an event does not already have 10 players. Players who wish to commit full-time will be given priority.

- Team Entries Covered: The Get Buckets organization will cover all team entry fees unless the team adds additional unscheduled events, that will be agreed upon by the coaches, parents, and players for that particular team.
- Recruiting Plan
- Support and Guidance: We will work diligently to set each player up with the appropriate apps, media presence, and a recruiting plan. Detailed information will be provided before the start of the season, with periodic reviews during practice sessions to ensure each player stays on track. We will also have a designated recruiting coordinator for all high school players.
- Educational Sessions: We will explain the differences between DI, DII, DIII, JUCO, and NAIA in terms of scholarships (NIL), recruiting calendars, the LIVE period, and other relevant periods, and how they differ between divisions.
- Practice and Training
- Regular Sessions: We will have designated weekends with 3-to-4-hour practice blocks on non-tournament weekends to ensure players build chemistry and implement defensive schemes and offensive sets. Practice locations will alternate between cities to accommodate all participants.
- Travel Arrangements
- Parent Responsibility: While we sponsor events, travel accommodations and associated costs are the responsibility of the parents.
- Uniforms
- GBS Rank Up Uniforms: All players will use their GBS Rank Up uniforms from the 2K24 event. Coaches may travel with an alternate set of GBS uniforms for players to wear during games, which must be returned at the tournament's conclusion. All players will receive a new GBS 2K25 Uniform for the Rank Up showcase, included in the GBS 2K25 Rank Up fee.

- High-Level Events: All teams will participate in 8 to 10 high-level events. The 2031 team will start before all other teams, but most teams will have their first workouts in February and tournaments in March.
